BEST

Viscount School programmes will be committed to supporting learning for the future:

  • Learning pedagogy will be based largely on Inquiry.
  • ICT will be used to enhance learning programmes.
  • Learning will be focused on Questioning, Collaborating, Thinking and Problem-solving.
  • Staff will be proficient in applying the best of current learning theory.
  • The community will be given opportunities to develop ICT capabilities

Pupils will be expected to:

Physical school will be:

  • warm and welcoming to all
  • safe for the children with playground equipment placed for safety, ease of supervision and attractions spread appropriately
  • well maintained with functional and attractive interiors and exteriors of buildings and garden areas
  • shaded in summer and sheltered in winter.
